Clear sheet
Acrylic is the clearest and most scratch resistant, polycarbonate is the toughest, and PETG sits between them for thin display work. All three are supplied as flat solid sheet; we do not supply twin-wall or corrugated polycarbonate.
Sign sheet
Corflute is the low-cost choice for temporary signs, PVC foam board gives a smooth face for indoor signs, and ACM is the rigid, long-life panel for permanent signs. We supply blank sheet; printing is done by you or your sign maker.
Industrial and food-area sheet
HDPE, UHMWPE, polypropylene and rigid PVC handle water, chemicals and wear. Where a job needs a food-contact or fire-rated grade, confirm the grade with us.

Plastic sheets questions
- What is the best clear plastic sheet?
- It depends on the job. Acrylic is the clearest and resists everyday scratches best, polycarbonate is far tougher where the sheet might be hit, and PETG suits thin display work. Our acrylic vs polycarbonate comparison goes through the differences.
- What plastic sheet is best for outdoor signs?
- ACM is the usual choice for permanent outdoor signs, acrylic suits high-end and illuminated signs, and corflute is the low-cost choice for temporary signs.
- Which plastic sheet is food safe?
- HDPE, UHMWPE, polypropylene, PETG and some other materials are made in food-contact grades, but not every sheet is one. Confirm the grade with us if your job needs it.
- Do you supply twin-wall or corrugated polycarbonate?
- No. Plastics Hub NZ supplies solid flat polycarbonate sheet only.
- Can you cut plastic sheet to size?
- Cutting is available on certain materials at certain depots. Request a quote with your sizes and we'll confirm.
