Cookie policy

Our approach

This website keeps what it stores in your browser to a minimum. It uses no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels, and it uses Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them. This page lists everything the site stores, and what third-party services may store when the site uses them. If that changes, we'll update this page before the change goes live.

Your enquiry list (browser storage, not a cookie)

When you add products to an enquiry list, the list is saved in your browser's local storage under the name phnz-enquiry-v1, so it is still there when you come back. It holds product identifiers and quantities only, never prices or personal details, and it is not sent to us until you submit an enquiry. It stays until you submit it, empty it or clear this site's data in your browser.

Google Analytics (only if you accept)

On www.plasticshub.co.nz we ask whether we may use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and how visitors found us, so we can improve it. Nothing is sent to Google Analytics unless you choose Accept, and if you decline or ignore the question, Google Analytics is never loaded.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_SBQR42DYWT, which last up to two years and hold a random identifier, never your name or contact details. We do not use them for advertising.

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name phnz-analytics-consent-v1, so we don't ask again. To change it, use the "Change your analytics choice" button on this page, or clear this site's data in your browser.

Staff sign-in for our content editor

Staff who sign in to edit this website's content receive strictly necessary sign-in cookies, including phnz_setup, which lasts 30 minutes and is used only on the editor's own pages. Customers never receive these cookies.

Our hosting provider

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. To protect the site from automated abuse, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) in your browser. It is not used for advertising.

Fonts

The fonts on this website are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details to deliver them. Google states that the Google Fonts service does not set cookies.

Payments

When online checkout opens, the checkout page loads Stripe's secure payment form. Stripe sets its own cookies (such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) on that page to prevent fraud and keep payments secure. They are strictly necessary for taking a card payment.

Managing cookies and storage

You can view, block or delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as checkout, from working, and clearing this site's data empties your enquiry list.
